• Introduction to Performing Arts

  As a major basic theory class, it is a class that examines the overall theories of various performances from the beginning of the performance to the present and lays the foundation for the performance as a study. It is a theoretical class that promotes wide and systematic performance production and academic achievement in the future by learning understanding of performance studies and various theoretical foundations.

• The art of Speaking 1,2

  It lays the foundation for acting by honing the art of speaking, one of the most important elements of the actor. It is a basic speech technique that studies how to express human inner emotions through formalized language. This course learns how to express various voices and rich emotions through training and cultivates the ability to adapt to various media through speech theory and training methods for broadcasting, theater, and film acting.

• The history of Theater

  By learning the entire history of plays from ancient plays to modern plays, it develops the ability to understand the flow of plays and to view contemporary plays anew. As a basic process, the understanding and concept of theater through the learning of theater history are newly organized and theoretical exploration is presented.

• The basic of Korean dance

As a beginner who starts acting, you will learn behavioral element training related to concentration and imagination such as tension relaxation, adaptation, belief and truth in an imaginary environment, and then you will study communication, exchange, and interaction with yourself and the other role through various training examples, and for this purpose, you will also study improvisation or Etude.

• Stage Lighting and Design1,2

  Performance is a real art. Therefore, since it is an art that embodies artistic conceptions on the real stage, various skills are required, and students must learn how to understand and utilize the technology.

• Stage Makeup

  Students will learn the basic makeup for roles and characters required by scripts in various media such as theater, dance, and musicals, and learn various make-up methodologies that add visual images to personality building and role creation. Allow each person to have the ability to dress up for their role.

• Script Analysis and Scene Presentation

  Through the process of understanding and analyzing the script and creating it into an actual scene, students will experience more three-dimensional thinking and acting in space, exploring the possibilities and expression techniques of acting.

• Theory of Contemporary Performing Arts

  In the 21st century, based on the rapidly changing concept of aesthetics and the development of modern science and technology, the concept of contemporary performing arts and its practice are also changing rapidly. In addition to the study of the concept of contemporary performing arts, this course predicts the future of performing arts by studying the world of performing artists from all over the world who are realizing advanced performing arts.

• Stage Sound

  Students will be able to practically incorporate sound, which is becoming important in modern performances, into various performances, and cultivate the abilities of production staff by acquiring design and operation skills for sound and various technologies in the performing arts.

• Musical Vocal 1,2

  This class intensively learns vocals, which are an important element as a performer not only in musicals but also in music theater and performances in general, enabling them to challenge themselves in a wider variety of genres.

• Stage Movements 1,2

  It is used as a stepping stone that can lead to free body expression, creative movement, and acting through learning movement on stage. Through improvisation and contact in stage movements, based on daily movements and movements on specific topics and situations, they develop their own latent body language by exercising free imagination and concentration without limitation in time and space.

• Stage Lighting Design

  Students will learn the basics of stage lighting and general lighting design for performing arts students. Based on the interpretation of the play, they build the idea of design and freely express various methods and thoughts. Learn how to direct and collaborate with other performance designers.

• Character building practice

  As [an actor's work on a role], excerpts from novels or realist plays that are rich in information about the work and characters, and prepare for the work as a role in earnest through the analysis of the work and the character, and various personality building works for role creation. • THEORY OF STAGE DIRECTION

  Based on the basic concepts of theater performance, it forms a theoretical basis for the practice of theater directing. In particular, the stage grammar that the director must theoretically master is emphasized.

• Stage Costume

  Students will study props and costumes for various roles in plays and musicals, and learn a series of processes related to the preparation and production of them, so that students can research and create stage costumes suitable for their roles.

• Creating a role practice

  It is the process of selecting various plays or one-acts, and creating a full-fledged role according to various theories and acting methodologies, such as Meier Hold's biomechanics, Baktankov's illusory realism, and Mikhail Chekhov's technical acting, based on Stanislavsky's method of physical behavior.

• Theatre Production 1,2,3,4

  It is a class in which students can approach the essence of the performance, from the selection of the work to the withdrawal of the performance, by applying all the things they have learned in theory to the actual situation while producing the play themselves, and it is process-oriented rather than the result, and all the elements are compounded.

• Stage Art 1,2

  This is a basic knowledge of stage art and a stage design class. Based on the interpretation of the play, they build the idea of design and freely express various methods and thoughts. Students will learn how to collaborate with other performance designers, and learn in depth how to design spaces and designs for various performing arts such as theater, musicals, ballet, and opera, so that they can become professionals in the performing arts field.

• Directing1,2

  In contemporary theater, the concept of directing is becoming more important not only in traditional narrative-based plays, but also in experimental plays such as image and post-language theater. In Directing Technique 1, students acquire serial knowledge related to all tasks related to directing in theater production, and study the overall work of stage production, and through this, in Directing Technique 2, they develop serial knowledge in all tasks related to directing, and study in depth the techniques for realizing scenes to acquire overall skills related to theater production.

• Performance Planning

  Students will study the theory and practice of running a school, vocational, and community theater company from an artistic, social, and economic perspective, and examine the problems of operation planning and its organization, budget, ticket management, ticket office operation, PR and planning, and organize and practice a theater company virtually.

• Musical Dance 1,2

  Unlike choreography or dance, musical dance combined with acting is a basic element that every performer should have. In conveying the theme and story of the work, it is possible to express the content and meaning more concretely through the expression of various body languages acquired through improvisation and contact, rather than relying only on dialogue.

• Camera Acting 1,2

  Students will learn various camera acting methods according to the changing performing arts environment and the development of various media, and prepare for future stage performances, film, TV, and various media acting.

• Production Research 1,2

  While going through the entire process of producing a show, students will learn about the relationship and workings of the production staff and the creators, such as designers. It is a class that allows for a very wide range of education that can help you advance into other fields other than acting in the future.

• Playwriting 1,2

  Students will study the general art of writing plays and practice writing based on writing techniques. Students will study the structure of drama and practical writing methods related to the dramatic arts. Students will study what a play is in the dramatic arts and study how to write based on an in-depth analysis of contemporary performing arts. Students will study in depth the overall playwriting techniques necessary from discovering their own material to perfecting their writing.

• Production Project for digital film 1,2

  Students will learn the art of making videos through a general understanding of the basic principles and processes of video production.

• Practical Dance

  In the age of longevity in the 21st century, the importance of human movement is emerging. Body and movement are mutually important, and the basics of practical dance are taught to enjoy daily life to create a healthy body. Students will learn line dancing, sports dance, aerobics, street dance, and other movements that are closely related to life.

  A class in which students experience the entire process of selecting a work, analyzing the work, setting the concept, production, and performing the performance. The purpose of this course is to experience the entire process of performing in the field through classes, so that students can improve and acquire the ability to be immediately put into the field after graduation.
