Introduction
LIKELION at Incheon National University is part of a nationwide university network for coding education and entrepreneurship, combining online-based lectures with offline activities. The program provides education not only in programming, but also in planning and design.
LIKELION began in 2013 with a Ruby on Rails-based educational program for 30 students at Seoul National University. Since then, under the vision, “We make today the closest day to your tomorrow,” approximately 8,400 students selected from more than 130 universities in Korea and around the world have participated in the program. Through its educational programs, participants have created more than 1,000 services. Well-known services developed through the LIKELION community include Banksalad, Taling, Wing Eat, Bepro11, and Jasoseol.com (now part of Remember). Today, LIKELION is one of the largest university programming networks in Korea.
Because the program is designed to educate and engage students from non-computer science backgrounds as well, anyone with an interest can participate. Each year, LIKELION introduces a curriculum and activities that reflect the latest trends in technology and digital services. We welcome students who have always wanted to learn programming, plan and develop their own services, or explore web and service design.
Recruitment is held once a year in March. Please note that there is no additional recruitment later in the same year.
