The Confucius Institute is a non-profit educational organization established by the Chinese Ministry of Education to promote Chinese language education and introduce Chinese culture around the world. More than 280 Confucius Institutes are currently operating across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and other regions worldwide.
The Confucius Institute at Incheon National University was established on August 28, 2009, in partnership with Dalian University of Foreign Languages in China. Courses are taught by native Chinese-speaking instructors certified and dispatched by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
In addition, the Institute receives educational content, textbooks, and curriculum support from the Chinese government, ensuring high-quality Chinese language and cultural education.
