Completion Requirements under the Former Act
※ Even when a course is completed for 3 credits, only 2 credits are recognized toward the qualification requirements. The overall average grade for all applicable courses must be at least 80 points.
※ Lifelong Education Practicum (Required)
- Practicum Institution : An institution officially recognized for lifelong education practicum training
- Practicum Period : Students must submit an Application for Lifelong Education Field Practicum during the first semester of their third or fourth year, select a practicum institution, obtain approval, and complete at least 3 weeks of field training during the summer vacation.
Completion Requirements under the Revised Act
Students must complete at least 30 credits in total. This must include 15 credits from 5 required courses, including the Lifelong Education Practicum, as well as elective courses including at least one course from both the Practice Area and the Methodology Area.
※ The overall average grade for all applicable courses must be at least 80 points.
※ Students admitted before the 2009 academic year who received approval but have never taken any lifelong education-related courses are subject to the requirements of the Revised Act.
Application for Certificate Issuance
After checking the official notice regarding the application for issuance of the Lifelong Education Specialist Certificate, submit the application to the Academic Affairs Division
