Article 6, Paragraph 5 Education volunteer activities during teaching practice may include "assistant teachers" or "various volunteer activities" recognized by the head of a school or educational institution (facility) established under the Early Childhood Education Act, the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, the Higher Education Act, the Lifelong Education Act, etc. or by the head of a social education institution (facility) related to the major field of study, or "learning assistants for multicultural families" recognized by the head of a public institution. They shall be more than 30 hours per credit, but the university shall determine the detailed standards.

If you do not apply for the course or do not submit a confirmation letter by the final exam, your credits will not be recognized, and your teaching license will not be issued.

- How to complete the report
- Submit the
form to the person in charge of the organization. - After filling out the contents of the volunteer service, obtain the verification from the person in charge and the head of the organization in the 'Evaluation of Education Volunteer' form.
- Fill out the cover page of the education volunteer report and submit it to the department office, attaching the 'Education Volunteer Attendance and Evaluation Form' received from the organization.

If you are volunteering at an organization other than an elementary, middle, or high school, please make sure that your organization is registered with VMS or 1365.
Disqualified Education Volunteer Activities
- Excludes organizations and groups that individuals run on a self-supporting basis
- Paid volunteer programs are not eligible
- Part-time-like-service cannot be recognized
- Excludes office assistant, administrative assistant, and telecommuting volunteer programs
- Education volunteer programs cannot be recognized during the school fieldwork period
- Only hours recognized by the volunteer organization with Pass (Refer to the Education Volunteer Attendance and Evaluation Report) are recognized.
- Volunteer hours cannot be recognized during a leave of absence
