Mid to long-term development plans
As the only public university in Incheon, Incheon National University has been striving to serve as a center for education and research in the Incheon region, contribute to the development of the local community through cooperation with industrial companies in the surrounding industrial parks, and eventually grow into a leading university in Northeast Asia.
To achieve this goal, our department focuses on teaching and research activities conducted by professors.
In particular, with the transition of Incheon National University to a national university and the relocation of the department to the new campus in Songdo, the Dept. of Chemistry will take this as an opportunity to make a new beginning and strive to become a more advanced and competitive educational and research institution.
To meet the needs of the times, build a knowledge-based society established on science and technology, and foster the international digitalization and knowledge information industry that Incheon City is promoting through the Songdo Free Economic Zone, the Department of Chemistry has established and announced a specialization development plan. The Dept. of Chemistry will lead the development of the local community and contribute to the development of society by training specialized professionals with knowledge-creation capabilities and international competitiveness suitable for a knowledge-based society.
