Program Introduction
학과As part of the department's specialization project, we help students conduct local research in China and present and share their findings to improve the curriculum.
In combination with the previous short-term language program or with your major, you will gain a rich experience of China, making you a valuable contributor to the local workforce after graduation.
Recommendations from our seniors
To learn more about China's perceptions of ethnic minorities and to see and feel how ethnic minorities live, we went on a winter 2018 social and cultural field research trip to Yunnan Province.
For 14 days and 15 nights, we traveled to Shangri-La, Lijiang, Dali, and Kunming to survey ethnic minorities and investigate their lives.
There were challenges during the preparation and execution of the social and cultural field research, and I was worried about my lack of Chinese language skills. However, the experience of working with my peers to create a result was rewarding in a way that traveling could never be.
I hope that many Chinese students will have the opportunity to experience China through the specialized program :)
