The Machine Safety Research Center (Fire and Disaster Research Center) offers various classes and in-depth research to secure fundamental safety from hazards.
We have introduced an undergraduate research student program for the 2nd-4th grades to foster creative researchers. We also actively utilize the undergraduate-graduate joint program, which allows students to obtain a master's degree in 4 years of undergraduate study + 1 year of graduate study.
In addition, we implement an advanced education system that combines on-the-job training and part-time work in partnership with laboratories and companies to cultivate the productive research capabilities of masters and Ph.D. students.
We are making the research center develop into a world-class one in Korea and the world, where students do not end with interest but realize their dreams to come true.
About Sevec
Fire simulation has been developed and recently applied to various fields of performance-based fire safety.
SEVEC Simulation Consulting conducts simulations on the fire safety of multiple structures and provides ongoing research to minimize the loss of life and damage to structures in the event of a fire.

Based on the technology accumulated over many years, we develop advanced fire models and evacuation simulations and conduct scale-down experiments based on PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) laser visualization to obtain more realistic fire simulation results.
