Graduation Requirements
- Dept. of Safety Engineering Standards: 140 credits or more
liberal arts
- Students admitted before 2007: 25 credits or more
- Students admitted in 2008 or later: 25 or more credits up to a maximum of 55 credits
- Students admitted in 2012 or later: 30 or more credits up to a maximum of 55 credits

Minor degree students (Bylaw 62 and Concurrent Bylaw 33)
- Requirements: 21 or more credits, including courses designated as required by the minor department (major) (no more than 9 credits)
- Recognition of Completion: If the courses taken in the major department are the same as the courses in the minor, credits will be recognized for the minor, but not to exceed 9 credits.
Double major students (Bylaw 62 and Concurrent Bylaw 42)
- Requirements: Includes both the major basics and the major core of the double major.
- Before 2004 and applicants: Complete at least 36 credits each in the major and double major departments
- 2005 and later applicants: Complete at least 42 credits each in the major and double major departments
- Recognition of Completion
- If you take courses as general electives or minors before applying for the double major, they can be recognized as courses in the double major.
- If the courses completed in the major are the same as the courses in the double major, they can be applied to both the major and the double major (up to 12 credits).
However, in the case of the same subjects, only the subjects completed in the major department will be recognized by the double major department.
- Graduation requirements
- Graduation eligibility required by the major and double major departments must be fulfilled; if not, graduation will not be granted. (If a student gives up the double major, they can graduate with the major)
Early Graduation Requirements (2009 and later admission)
- Graduation credits (140 credits for the Dept. of Safety Engineering) or more, with a 4.0 GPA or higher.
In case of exchange students, they will not be able to complete/graduate until their grades are finalized.
- If you do not submit your grades by your graduation semester (8th semester), you will be required to spend one semester (9th semester) at INU after your exchange program ends.
Recognition of other credits
- Other credits [credits from other universities at domestic and abroad + cyber course credits (OCU) + advanced preparatory credits (credits earned for university courses before entering university) + credits earned during military service] are only accepted within the range of 1/2 of the graduation credits.

English Graduate Qualification (Bylaw 66)
Applicable to
- Students admitted in 2002 or later, readmitted after 2002, and transferred to that year ('02 or later) (Excluding: Athletic specialists, employed students, or military admitted and transferred students)

Application Process
- Apply for English Graduate Qualification in Integrated Information System and get approval from the department
Eligibility Criteria
- transcripts must have been taken while you were enrolled at the University and be within the validity period
- Admitted in 2010 or later and transferred in that year
(However, those who transferred to the 2nd grade or higher from Incheon College due to university integration or those who were re-admitted to the 2nd grade according to the Incheon College Expelled Student Protection Measures Implementation Guidelines apply the previous standard)

Apply for an Exception to the English Graduation Qualification
- Eligibility: Those who have completed the course or are in their 4th year of study and are employed.
- Application period: Apply for the English Graduation Qualification Exception no later than 30 days before the expected graduation date and get department approval.
- Documents to submit
- Employees (Health insurance for employees): Proof of employment, verification of health insurance eligibility
- Employees (Medical benefits recipients): Employment certificate, National Basic Livelihood Recipient Certificate and select 1 of the following: Employment Insurance, National Health Insurance, Worker's Compensation Insurance
- 1-Person Entrepreneur: Comprehensive Income Tax Return (2018 annual business income totaling 3.47 million won or more)
- Freelancers: Withholding receipts from the previous year (2018 withholding business income totaling 4,721,310 won or more)
- Agricultural and fishery workers: Select 1 of the following: Farmer confirmation, agricultural business registration confirmation, fisherman confirmation, fishery business registration confirmation, agricultural business registration inquiry
Criteria for determining ineligibility for graduation
Retention (After 8 semesters)
- Failure to complete the prescribed curriculum (insufficient graduation credits, not completing major requirements, etc.)
- If a student does not fulfill the graduation requirements of the double (joint) major, his/her main major graduation will also be suspended.
Determination of Completion
- Students who have completed the curriculum, but have failed their thesis or have not received English graduation qualification. (Completed students are not eligible to register and take classes)
