College of Information Technology
Dept. of Information Telecommunication Engineering
The Dept. of Information Telecommunication Engineering is a department that studies the field of information and communication, which is the foundation of the 21st-century information society.
This course provides students with an overall theoretical understanding of information processing, networking, and communication technologies for creating, processing, and transmitting information, as well as the ability to design software and hardware and experiment. Through various information and communication practices utilizing wired and wireless communication networks, we aim to develop advanced professionals with creativity, technology development, communication skills, information ethics awareness, and leadership qualities who can actively cope with the upcoming ubiquitous society.
Comprehensive system of H/W and S/W such as ubiquitous, communication, and information networks
- Communication systems: areas related to electronic systems, radio waves, and communication systems
- Synthesis of electronics H/W for digital/analog, wired/wireless communications and the low-level system S/W to operate them
- Communication terminal H/W such as mobile phones, system S/W that operates them, and application S/W such as games and the Internet that operate on the terminal
- Design S/W, such as CAD, and implemented H/W systems required in the design process to design hardware
- Communication H/W systems or modules and testing S/W to validate them
- Network Systems: computer networks, software development related areas
- H/W equipment for the network and the operational S/W systems that run it
- Network server equipment H/W and various server S/W systems such as OS, DB, EIB, web services, etc.
- Network client or terminal H/W and various client application S/W systems
- Network H/W equipment or modules and network management S/W systems that manage them, or S/W systems for performance evaluation
- Computer Systems: computer systems, multimedia development related areas
- Computer H/W systems and S/W systems, such as system S/W, operating systems, and application programs that run on the computer.
- Multimedia digital H/W equipment that applies computers and multimedia S/W systems that operate and utilize them.
- An application system that operates in a mobile multimedia network environment, such as a smartphone with a computer application.
