Pulling the World Power
Dept. of Political Science & International Studies
On October 20, 1981, our department received approval from the Ministry of Education to establish a department with a capacity of 30 students, and the first freshman class was admitted in 1982.
Political science aims to contribute to the peace and prosperity of humanity by exploring political phenomena that occur "inside" and "outside" the state. Our program focuses on developing creative, self-governing, and democratic leaders to lead societies.
The teaching and research areas are broadly divided into political science and international relations, but the majors are divided into political philosophy, Korean politics, comparative politics, and international politics.
