- Q. Isn't the period of service too long for active duty?
- A. In the case of Incheon National University, if you apply for a combined bachelor's and master's major, you can earn a master's degree in 5 years with a bachelor's (3.5 years) + master's (1.5 years). After that, you can serve a three-year Master's Professional Research Service and complete your bachelor's, master's, and military service in eight years. In addition, you can earn the same high salary as a regular employee or researcher while serving as a professional researcher, and you can learn practical skills related to computer science. Another advantage is that most researchers can continue to work for the same company after their fellowship ends, so they don't have to look for a new job.
