A total of 120 participants, including Incheon citizens, university students, and young adults interested in blockchain technology, attended the event, reflecting the growing public interest in the field.
During the opening ceremony, Attorney Cho Won-Hee from DLG Law Firm delivered a lecture titled “Virtual Asset Legislation and Challenges of the Blockchain Industry”, presenting government policies and legal perspectives on the future direction of the industry. This year’s Blockchain College provides a structured curriculum consisting of a basic course for beginners and an advanced course for those seeking to deepen their expertise. Notably, an outreach program will be offered to expand access to blockchain education. Tailored on-site education will be provided to middle and high school students as well as citizens across Incheon. Kang Dong-Koo, Head of the Startup Support Division at Incheon National University, stated, “Through Blockchain College, we aim to enhance public understanding of blockchain, a core technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and support startups in leveraging this technology to expand their businesses.”
