Overview of the Exchange Program
It is a program that allows students to study at a foreign sister university for a certain period of time (6 months to 1 year) and be eligible for academic credit at INU.
This program allows students to develop their academic skills and broaden their perspectives of international society through exposure to foreign academic disciplines and cultures.

Qualifications to apply as an exchange student
- Students who have completed at least 3 semesters at the time of dispatch. (Applicants can be restricted by grade level or major)
- Students with an average GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Students with foreign language proficiencyStudents with foreign language proficiency
- Students with qualities and values to represent Incheon National University
Exchange student admission numbers and schedule
- Dispatch Universities: Kitakyushu City University, Sonoda Women's University, Kasui Women's University, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Suzuka International University, Tohji University, Fukuoka University, Hokkaido University, Chuo University, Hiroshima Metropolitan University

- Application period: Every March, April, and September
- Total number of participants: Varies by university
Please note that detailed application information will be posted on the International Exchange Center website approximately one month before the selection period.
Costs
- Pay tuition at Incheon National University, tuition exemption at the dispatched university (however, you may be required to pay tuition depending on the terms of your program), and pay your own airfare/living expenses.
- Students are responsible for procedures, airfare, and local living expenses.
Notes on taking courses at a dispatching university
- Students in the Department of Japanese Language and Culture are not eligible to enroll in Japanese language courses (introductory, conversational, grammar, writing, etc.), Korean language courses, and Korean-related courses at the host university. Such courses will not be recognized as credits for your major after you return to Incheon National University.
- Students with specific reasons to take such courses must be approved in writing (email, etc.) by the department director before registering.
- Only up to 6 credits per semester can be recognized as major credits (up to 12 credits for a one-year dispatch).
- Other credits are accepted as liberal arts electives or general elective credits,
- The above applies to exchange students selected from the 2021-2 semester.
