Nurturing human resources to lead the global market
Dept. of International Trade, Incheon National University
Since its founding in 1979, our faculty has been focused on practical academic research that explores the intersection of trade in goods and services, people, capital, content, and data.
In addition, through education in global business, we aim to develop international business leaders with a balanced sense of theory and practice and integrated thinking skills.
Since its conversion to a national university in 2013, the school has expanded its traditional trade curriculum with the values of globalization, integration, and practicality and has actively responded to diversifying market demands and changes in the global environment by recruiting new professors in the fields of MICE international tourism, data science, cultural entertainment, and digital trade.
In particular, we are promoting close industry-academia cooperation by participating in the government's Trade Incubator project, the Glocal Trade Expert Incubating Program (GTEP), the Global Convergence University Project for Universities in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, the Youth University Convention Project, and the Digital Trade Specialized Course Support Project. In addition, we have been selected for the University Specialization Project for three years from 2022. We are actively reorganizing the curriculum around digital trade, global conventions, and convergence service industries, enhancing industry-academia collaboration education, conducting programs abroad for undergraduate students, and inviting new professors in the specialization field.
