Visa
All students need a short-term student visa (D-2-8). For more information on visa requirements or application, please contact the Korean Embassy or Consulate in your home country where you plan to apply for a visa to determine what is required to enter Korea. Contact INU's International Exchange Center (global@inu.ac.kr) for assistance in providing the documents needed to apply for a visa. Check the e-government website for foreigners.
Obtaining a visa can be time-consuming, so we recommend that students apply early.
Insurance
All students are required to have insurance before coming to Korea. It must cover medical treatment for injuries and illnesses that may occur during the program. A copy of a valid insurance policy must be submitted via email at least 2 weeks before the start of the program.
