Credits required for graduation
- Students admitted before 2007: 140 credits or more
- Students admitted in 2008 or later: 135 credits or more
Credits for Liberal Arts
General requirements: 6 credits of Liberal Arts required English courses, at least 1 national language course (8 credits or more)
If you take more than the maximum number of liberal arts credits, the excess credits will be excluded from the number required for graduation.
Example) If a student admitted in 2008 has completed 135 total credits and 60 credits of liberal arts (required + optional), 130 credits will be recognized for graduation, 5 credits short of graduation.

Major Credits
- Up to 2009: Complete at least 51 credits, including major basics, major requirements, and major electives.( See table below: Basics and requirements must be taken)
- From 2010 transfer students: : Complete at least 60 credits if you are not completing a double or joint major.
- For students who completed a double major or joint major
- Before 2004, students must have completed at least 36 credits in each major and double major.
- After 2004, students must have completed at least 42 credits in each major and double/joint major.
- If the courses duplicate with the major, a maximum of 12 credits will be accepted as duplicates.
- For students doing a Minor
- Complete 21 credits in the minor (including minor requirements) and at least 60 credits in the major (51 credits until 2009)
- If you do not complete a program, you may still graduate if you have met all other graduation requirements.
- Students must apply separately if they wish to continue after meeting the requirements for graduation.

Thesis
After submitting the thesis plan, you must meet with your advisor at least twice before submitting your thesis.
- Submit the thesis in the 1st or 2nd semester of the 4th year, and details will be posted on the department's website in that semester.
- In the case of a double major, the thesis of the double major should also be submitted. (Contact your department)
Qualification for Graduation
Qualify up to one month before graduation!
English Graduation Qualification
- Apply for an Exception to the English Graduation Qualification: Portal-Comprehensive Information System-Graduation Management-English Qualification Application
- Exception for English Graduation Qualification: If a student who has completed or is planning to graduate is employed, they can apply.
Required documents: 1. Exception application form, 2. Employment certificate, and 1 copy of health insurance certificate (Submit the original copy to the department: you can submit it by post)
Students must fulfill the above requirements to graduate.
Please note that there are many cases where students cannot graduate due to not acquiring graduation qualifications.
Graduation application for complete students
- Determination of completion: If the student fails the thesis or fails to gain the graduation qualifications above.
- Graduation application: If you wish to graduate, submit a graduation application to the department by fulfilling all the thesis and graduation qualification requirements.

※ When to submit: After submitting your thesis or, if you have only English language qualification left, submit it after applying for the qualification on the portal.
※ Graduation is only possible in February or August (so apply for it by December or June!) - Thesis: It will be carried out each semester. Be sure to check the department announcement
