College of Engineering in Incheon National University started with five departments (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Architectural Engineering) when opened in 1979.
After the establishment of the College of Information Technology in 2002 and the establishment of the College of Urban Science in 2010, some departments were abolished and new departments were newly established.
Now It has three more departments (Department of safety engineering, Department of energy and chemical engineering, and Department of mechatronics engineering.
The College of Engineering is the largest university in the Incheon National University and plays a leading role.
The College of Engineering has been inviting many excellent professors and attracting excellent students through ceaseless efforts, and has contributed greatly to fostering professional engineering manpower, volunteering to the local community, and developing the national industry.
Currently, the College of Engineering is transforming into a young and dynamic college with many assistant professors and associate professors, making various efforts to become a prestigious university in Korea and a leading university in Northeast Asia.
The College of Engineering has the educational goal of cultivating professional technicians with responsibility, ethical awareness, comprehensive design ability, field work ability, and creativity, and is making ceaseless efforts to cultivate creative global engineers with universality and expertise.
Our College of Engineering aims to contribute to national development by cultivating engineers who are more faithful to the basics through substantial education and research, and can play a leading role in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution through various creative and challenging comparisons and programs.
