In other words, students must possess integrated competencies encompassing language, education, and human beings. This means they need to have a sense of calling and values as teachers, theoretical, practical, and behavioral knowledge of Korean language education, and a deep understanding and practice of language, culture, human beings, and society.

Qualifications RequiredMiddle and High School Level 2 Teacher Certification, Korean Language Proficiency Test Level 3 or higher.

Non-Major ActivitiesStudy groups and clubs, class demonstration contests, domestic and international educational volunteer programs, special lectures to deepen the major, and special lectures to understand the educational field and curriculum.

Track IntroductionWe encourage students to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to build on their practical understanding of national languages and education and apply it to a more comprehensive range of contexts, including the public and global spheres. This requires language literacy skills based on the national language, practical knowledge and processing skills for administrative work, and international competence.

In other words, students must have a linguistic sense, cultural understanding, and in-depth insight into society. To accomplish this, it is essential to have in-depth knowledge and experience in the publishing, media, and cultural fields, as well as language literacy skills.
