On the 23rd, President In-Jae Lee of Incheon National University officiated the ceremonial kickoff at the 2025 U-League university football match between Incheon National University and Hannam University, held at the university’s main stadium.

The 2025 U-League (Division 1) began in April and will run through the end of October, with teams competing in six regional leagues at various home stadiums across the country. Each region features six teams battling for the top spot.

In the match, Incheon National University equalized in the 87th minute with a second-half goal, making the score 1–1. However, a penalty kick awarded in the 90th minute led to a narrow 2–1 defeat to Hannam University.
