We are pleased to announce the financial support plan for employment competency development for the Spring Semester of 2026. 

Please review the following information carefully and submit your application accordingly.

 

Program Title:
2026 Spring Semester Financial Support Plan for Employment Competency Development

Eligibility:

Undergraduate students enrolled in the three majors under the School of Northeast Asian Studies

- Includes students participating in overseas exchange programs

- Excludes students on leave of absence, students who have completed coursework, and those enrolled in double, minor, or interdisciplinary majors

 

3. Amount of Support:

Up to KRW 150,000 per student for employment competency development-related learning expenses

4. Eligible Expense Period:

Expenses incurred between March 3, 2026 (Tue) and June 22, 2026 (Mon)

Purchase of textbooks for coursework (general education or major courses) and materials for employment competency development (e.g., language learning, certifications)

Domestic payments only (overseas purchase allowed for exchange students)

The total reimbursable amount across all categories must not exceed KRW 150,000 per student.

 

Course Enrollment Fees

Fees for online or offline courses

IBE major students are not eligible for reimbursement of online courses taken in their home country

Certification Exam Fees

Fees for language proficiency tests and IT-related certification exams

IBE major students are limited to Korean, English, and IT-related certification exams

Others

Additional expenses recognized by the department head as relevant to employment competency development


 

 

6. Procedure for Participation and Reimbursement


Plan learning activities

Make payment in advance using personal funds

Application for Learning Activity Expenses

Disbursement of Funds

e.g., purchase materials, enroll in courses, take certification exams

student's own card or cash

Students must first cover the expenses required for learning activities using their personal card or cash

When paying by card, the student's own card must be used

complete the activity

Submit application with required supporting documents

Reimbursement will be made to the student's bank account after document review (scheduled for July)


During the support period, students shall select learning activities necessary for strengthening their career and employment competencies and confirm how to carry them out

- Multiple activities (books, courses, exams) may be combined

- Any amount exceeding KRW 150,000 must be covered by the student

Required Documents: Application form (official format, signature required), Supporting documents for each activity

- Supporting documents for each activity

Course Enrollment Fees

Two types of payment proof + Proof of course registration

Certificate of completion (must be submitted before June 22; failure to submit will require reimbursement return)

Certification Exam Fees

Two types of payment proof + Proof of exam completion

(e.g., score report, result screen)

The total amount of supporting documents must be equal to or greater than the claimed amount (up to KRW 150,000). If less, only the verified amount will be reimbursed.

Cash receipt (issued under Incheon National University Business Registration No. 131-82-15711)

Issuance under the student's name is allowed only if unavoidable

Transaction statement (including item details)

If item details are already included in the receipt, a separate transaction statement is not required

If only the total amount appears on the receipt, a transaction statement must be submitted (e.g., purchase receipt, order confirmation screenshot, etc.)

Valid Payment Period:

Only payments made between March 3, 2026, and June 22, 2026, are eligible


Application Period: From June 10, 2026 (00:00) to June 22, 2026

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis

7. Payment Schedule: Reimbursement will be deposited into the applicant's bank account in July after document verification
