Starting with students graduating in February 2028, the graduation requirement for the IBE major will change from submitting a graduation thesis to passing a graduation examination.

● Students admitted to the IBE major in Spring 2024 and afterward will be subject to the graduation examination requirement.

● The first graduation examination will be conducted in the Fall semester of 2027.

● However, students admitted to the Korean Trade and Commerce major will still be allowed to submit a graduation thesis even after the new graduation examination system is implemented.

● In addition, IBE students who wish to submit a graduation thesis for purposes such as graduate school applications will be permitted to do so.

● IBE students who plan to graduate early (by August 2027) must submit a graduation thesis.

The graduation examination will cover three subjects: Introductory Economics I, Introductory Economics II, and Corporate Finance.
Further details regarding the examination will be announced later.
