 BKO6001,6002 General Chemistry (1),(2)

This course covers a generally broader field of Chemistry and slightly higher level of science in basic knowledge of Chemistry such as the basic laws of Chemistry, basic theories of Thermodynamics, atomic and molecular theories, solution theories, phase equilibrium and chemical equilibrium, kinetics, electrochemistry, the basics of organic chemistry and biochemistry.

 BBKO6003,6004 General Chemistry Laboratory (1),(2)

Students learn basic experiment methods such as qualitative analysis of experiments on basic principles of Chemistry.

 BKO6005,6006 General Biology (1),(2)

Students learn the basic biological knowledge that is essential for scientists and engineers such as characteristics, metabolism, genetics, embryology, evolution and classification of organisms.

 BKO6007,6008 General Biology Experiment (1),(2)

This course focuses in helping students understand basic Biology by introducing the general field of Biology.

 BKO6010,6023 General Physics (1),(2)

This course allows students to understand the basic principles of Physics and physical phenomena. Students learn the basic knowledge in Physics that is essential for scientists and engineers such as quantity measurement, work and energy, mechanics, and thermodynamics.

 BKO6011,6024 General Physics Laboratory (1),(2)

The objective of this course is to cultivate a scientific inquiring mind in students by allowing them to learn the principles of nature through basic experiments and conduct experiments themselves. Through such experiments, students become equipped with basic skills that are needed in conducting advanced chemical experiments through such experiments.

 BKO6016 Differential Integrand Calculus(1)

This course covers the basic theories in mathematics such as limit and continuous functions, derivatives, polar coordinates, indefinite integral and definite integral.

 BKO6020 Differential Integrand Calculus(2)

Following the Differential Integrand Calculus (1), this course covers the basic Mathematic theories such as partial derivative, multiple integral, series, matrix and determinants.

 BKC6001,6005 Organic Chemistry (1),(2)

This course covers basic academic information of general Organic Chemistry such as nomenclature, characteristics, structures, laws of organic compounds, structure determination by utilization and spectroscopy, and organic reactions' reactivity and mechanisms.

 BKC6002 Physical Chemistry (1)

This course deals with the changes and the relationships between various energies that occur during physical and chemical processes in a macroscopic point of view based on the laws and basic principles of thermodynamics.

 BKC6003,6011 Analytical Chemistry Laboratory

In this course, students learn how to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of the composition of unknown substances by applying the basic theories and principles in qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.

 BKC6004 Analytical Chemistry (1)

This course deals with the theories of chemistry to find out the types and proportions of compositions in a material, ie. students learn the basic theories of qualitative and quantitative analysis for identification through physical and chemical methods.

 BKC6006 Physical Chemistry (2)

The atomic and molecular structures and characteristics are understood and basic theories of spectroscopy and theories of chemical bonds are systematized by introducing the theory of quantum mechanics.

 BKC6007 Organic Chemistry Laboratory

This course enhances students' abilities to handle complex organic reactions through action experiments regarding separation, purification, synthesis and determination of organic compounds that are needed to understand the theories of Organic Chemistry experimentally.

 BKC6012 Inorganic Chemistry (1)

This course introduces the basic theories and principles of inorganic chemistry that are related to atomic structure, period table, mirror and group theory, chemical bonding, molecular structures and solid geometry. It also deals with the chemistry of solution, acid and base in terms of inorganic chemistry.

 BKC6017 Physical Chemistry Laboratory

Abstract concepts and principles that are covered in Physical Chemistry lectures are seen through experiments. Students become equipped with skills to conduct scientific researches by learning the operation method and characteristics of simple measuring devices used in physical chemistry.

 BKC6028 Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory

Students have hands on experience and learn the basic principles of inorganic chemistry and the characteristics and responses of inorganic compounds through experiments on the synthesis and purification of inorganic compounds, and analysis and verification experiments. Also, students learn the basic techniques that are needed to conduct inorganic chemistry experiments.

 BKC6008 Analytical Chemistry (2)

This course deals with basic theories and principles of quantitative analysis such as chemical neutralization titration, precipation titration, redox titration, chelate titration and gravimetric analysis.

 BKC6009 Computers in Chemistry

This course covers the methods of processing and analysis of experiment data using computers. It also deals with the technique application of computational and numerical analysis that are performed with computers to solve application problems that often arise in Chemistry.

 BKC6010 Electrochemistry

This course provides lectures on the electrochemical analysis methods by dealing with electrolyte solution balance and transport phenomena, the relationship between energy from chemical reaction and electrical energy, electrode reactions, and electrochemical synthesis.

 BKC6013 Organic Chemistry (3)

This course covers the aspects of theories regarding the structures, reactivity and reaction mechanisms of organic compounds.

 BKC6014,6020 Biochemistry (1),(2)

This allows students to understand the presence of cells as a living organism by dealing with synthesis and catabolism of substances, transfer of genetic information, and correlation and regulation of many metabolic processes that occur within cells as well as the mutual influence between cells.

 BKC6016 Molecular Spectroscopy

This establishes the basics of theories regarding the fields of spectroscopy that is used in throughout the field of Chemistry, and organizes application examples.

 BKC6037 Theories of Science Education

The objective of this course is to help with students' understanding by introducing Science Education to students who are interested in the field and to lay out the groundwork for the students to continue in intensive courses. Therefore, this course teaches the interaction between the modern society and science, and provide the direction of science education. It deals with actual information that is needed for on-site education such as the objectives and context of science education, approaches based on principles such as the nature of science as well as the mode l and methods of science education.

 BKC6015 Inorganic Chemistry (2)

This course introduces coordination and organometallic chemistry, which could be referred to as the key fields of inorganic chemistry. Students explore the main principles and theories related to this area.

 BKC6018 Advanced Organic Chemistry

This course allows students to understand the basic theories of organic chemistry such as the material, nomenclature, laws, and reactivity of organic compounds. It also allows students understand the new content of organic chemistry, ie. three-dimensional spectroscopy and structure, molecular orbital theory, and neighboring group effect.

 BKC6019 Instrumental Analysis

Students learn how to select the appropriate analytic device to isolate various mixtures and compounds, analyze their content and interpret the molecular structure by using the operation principles and structures of analytic devices and the principles of compound analysis using analytic devices

 BKC6021 Polymer Chemistry

This provides lectures regarding basic concepts of polymers, classification and properties of polymers, various types of polymer synthesis, general theories regarding their structures and properties, and industrial application of polymers.

 BKC6022 Photochemistry

This course introduces the kinetic theory of gases and the molecular movement within liquids. With this as the basis, students study the specific conditions and processes of chemical reactions. This course provides an overview of the forms of basic chemical reactions, and the characteristics and differences between different forms of reactions. Students identify chemical reaction mechanisms on the basis of the determined chemical reaction rate equation, and study Chemical Kinetics.

 BKC6023 Instrumental Analysis LaBoratory

Students gain skills to apply the principles and theories of modern analytic devices that make microscopic composition and structural determination of materials in actual analysis.

 BKC6024 Polymer Chemistry LaBoratory

With the objective to help students gain general understanding regarding polymer materials along with the Polymer Chemistry lectures, experiments on the synthesis and purification of polymers, and investigations into their properties (viscosity measurement, IR, NMR, GPC) are conducted.

 BKC6025 Quantum Chemistry

This enhances students' understanding regarding the fundamental theories of quantum mechanics, and by applying this knowledge in chemical problems, deals with the structures and properties of materials through interactions between component molecules.

 BKC6026 Advanced Inorganic Chemistry

This course deals with group theory that is applied in researches on the properties and structures of inorganic compounds and spectroscopic analysis researches. It introduces major fields of modern inorganic chemistry such as solid state chemistry and biotic inorganic chemistry.

 BKC6027 Spectroscopical Measurement with Experiments

This establishes theoretical foundation regarding advanced spectroscopic equipment. Students learn how to use and application method of equipment through experiments.

 BKC6029 Biochemistry LaBoratory

Students learn isolation, purification, quantification, and determination of proteins that are needed to conduct biochemistry researches. Students can confirm their properties by extracting enzymes and perform enzyme kinetic experiments.

 BKC6035 Advanced Physical Chemistry

 Nano Chemistry

The purpose of this course is to inform undergraduate students of general and basic research information regarding nano technology that is actively being developed throughout the world to overcome the limitations of micro-technology today. They key aspects that will be covered by this course are the types and features of nano materials, biomaterials, molecular self-assembly phenomena, types and principles of advanced nano equipment, Bottom-up approach, Top-down approach and applications of nanotechnology.

 Medicinal Chemistry

This course extensively deals with the basic knowledge required for the development of new medicines such as synthesis design of organic medicine, synthesis method, toxicity and efficacy, and manufacturing methods to improve reaction efficacy through case studies.

 Enviroment and Human Heath

This course allows students to understand the fundamental interactions between the environment and humans as well as the reactions and injury mechanisms of the human body that occur due to changes in the environment. Students explore the examples of factors that have significant influence on the lives of people in the modern society.

 BKC6031 Molecular Structure Analysis

Students learn methods to determine the molecular structures including various structural analysis methods by establishing theoretical and practical foundations.

 BKC6032 (Industrial Inorganic Chemistry

Students explore the manufacturing process, nature and purposes of manufactured products in the inorganic chemistry industries such as inorganic drug manufacturing industry, fertilizer industry, metal industry, electrochemical industry, ceramic industry, and new inorganic material industry.

 BKC6033 Environmental Chemistry

This course allows students to understand the interactions between humans and the environment and solve problematic issues in terms of Chemistry. Students understand the cycles of chemically hazardous substances in the natural environment and learn analytic methods. This deals with solutions to problems such as energy that cause environmental pollution and wastes.

 YAA9808 Theories of Subject-Matter Education

In principle, this course is for students who completed the Theories of Subject-Matter Education (Science), and it deals with specific applications and actual content regarding the Chemistry education system.

 YAA9908 The Study of Subject-Matter Education

In this course, students practice, discuss, and analyze various instructional methods such as preparing textbook materials, preparing lesson plans, teaching tips and evaluation methods, which are skills required to teach Science classes in middle school and Chemistry classes in high school as a secondary school teacher.

 Logic and Essay Writing

The objective of this course is to foster skills to explain the specialized knowledge in Chemistry as a secondary school teacher. Students practice, discuss and analyze in order to cultivate logical thinking that is consistent with the study of Chemistry, and put it into writing.
