Note 1) Convert the academic grades and the official English score on a scale of 100 and multiply each score by 0.6 and 0.2, respectively.

ex) academic score = (personal score/4.5)*100*0.6
official English test score = (personal score/990)*100*0.2

Note 2) The professor advisor’s recommendation score may take official events held by the Tax and Accounting Department (general orientation and MT etc,) into account to calculate service points based on the participation; the department class representatives and student council members may be given up to 20 total points to reflect service points.

   - The base score of the professor advisor’s recommendation is 18 points, and a maximum of -1 can be deducted
for non-participation in an official department activity, taking into consideration the number of times per
semester the student missed an activity. In addition, student representatives must submit status reports of
individual student attendance to the department office before the end of each semester.

   - The department representatives and student council members of each grade may be awarded up to +2 service
points for the enrichment of the department.

   - (Note) 1 point for the professor advisor’s recommendation score usually converts to 0.075 points, and is the
equivalent of 49.5 points of the official English score.

※ Students who do not interview with their respective department professor advisor are not eligible for
     merit-based scholarships.
