1) In accordance with the Quarantine Act and the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act, all incoming travelers, regardless of nationality, shall be subject to mandatory 14-day quarantine beginning on the date of entry and ending at 12:00 of the 15th day.
(For example, if you arrived on 1 November, you are required to stay under mandatory quarantine until 12:00 of 15 November)
2) As of January 8, 2021, all incoming travelers must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours of the departure date.
a. The test result should be issued in English or Korean.
However, if the results can only be issued in a local language, an English or Korean translation can be
accepted only if the translation is certified or notarized by an official translator and submitted together.
b. It must be printed and submitted at the airport.
c. The test result should include 'your name, test name, test result, and the date of issue'.
d. Foreigners who fail to submit a certificate will be denied entry.
e. Only Real-time Reserve Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) will be accepted.
3) Incoming students must receive the PCR test two times in Korea.
Students must undergo the first test within a day after arrival.
Then, students must take the second PCR test before the quarantine is lifted.
4) Private gatherings of five or more people in Seoul and surrounding areas have been banned.
