The Incheon International Development Cooperation Center (Director Tae-myeon Kwon) provided training to invited officials and five workers from the Ulaanbaatar City’s Agriculture Bureau in Mongolia from December 2 to 8 under the support of the KOICA to for agricultural cooperation between Incheon and Ulaanbaatar.

The training sessions were designed to understand different farming conditions between Mongolia and Incheon and to find ways to cooperate in areas such as growing, storing, and processing agricultural and livestock products.

In addition to lectures given by Korean experts with business experience in Mongolia and visiting the KOICA headquarters, the training process was conducted considering theories and practices such as Samsan Agricultural Wholesale Market, Incheon Agricultural Technology Center, Ganghwa County Agricultural Technology Center, facilities processing of agricultural food in Incheon, greenhouse and field classes at livestock processing companies.

“The agricultural support systems in Incheon, such as agricultural machinery loans and processing support programs, were impressive and it was a time to broaden the agricultural sector's knowledge through visits to various institutions," said executive management on Ulaanbaatar City who participated in training, and "We hope to continue active exchange with other farmers in order to develop farming in Ulaanbaatar."
