INU (president Dong-sung Cho) conducted volunteer work for local residents in Hakik-dong, Michuhol-gu, on November 30.
Around 70 teachers and college students participated in the "Love Briquettes Sharing" service organized by the Social Service Center (Head Byung-jo Choi).
In particular, small delivery is often rejected because there are many steep terrain areas in the area of Hakik-dong, Michuhol-gu as many households still use briquettes by the briquettes store. Considering these characteristics, Incheon University made it a priority to deliver families that are difficult to deliver.
A total of 4,500 briquettes and 1 million won raised by UICOOP were delivered to 15 households (low income, elderly people, disabled households, etc.) selected by the Briquettes Sharing Center for the Disabled (Director Heung-sik Cho) at Incheon University.
Even in cold weather, the volunteers who participated in the sharing process said, "It is worthwhile to convey warm heart to our neighbors who are having a difficult time."
"I heard that this winter will be much colder than usual, but I hope that the briquettes delivered by university members will help our neighbors get a warm winter, and we will continue to think about sharing the needs of our communities through the development of various programs." said Byung-jo Choi, head of the Social Service Center.
