Mirinae Supporters of of Ministry of Health and Welfare held ‘If you love, plan. Sex Culture Festival’ at INU convention center (Building 12) on November 22.

The event, organized by the supporters Mirinae Team of Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association and sponsored by the Social Service Center of Incheon University, was organized to practice contraception, prevent unwanted pregnancies, reduce artificial abortions, and spread life respect thinking to society.  

The festival programs are composed ‘Love Box’ that guess the contraceptive tool in the box using tactile, ‘Love jenga’ that jenga board game with a quiz on life respect, such as contraception, childbirth, and artificial abortions, ‘Love puzzle’ that look at the plate with 9 different types of contraception and match the name of the correct contraceptive method for each and it was beneficial to local residents as well as to school members.

In addition, Incheon University's Mirinae team plans to introduce a variety of card news items under various themes such as "Youth Condom Vending Machine", "Inborn Error of Metabolism", "Men's Contraceptives" and “Powerful Parenting with Sharing Infant Care”.

Ji-ae Kim, a senior at Social Welfare Department, said, "This is venue where supporters Mirinae presents a variety of campaigns that have been conducted since last May," "We hope that citizens who participated in the festival can gather accurate information on contraception, artificial pregnancy, and pregnancy." 

Meanwhile, the Mirinae team consists of six students who are enrolled in the social welfare department of Incheon University and they have been selected as a college student's life-loving supporters by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Population Health and Welfare Association. They will continue to carry out activities such as offline campaigns for local events, operation of SNS pages to deliver sexual knowledge, and youth education to establish proper sexual values.
