The college of Engineering has the objective of rearing talented individuals who are creative, responsible and ethical, and possess an outstanding ability in comprehensive design and in performing tasks on the field. We are working hard to produce capable individuals who possess expertise useful in international economics and future progress.

Introduction

The Incheon Technical College was established in 1979 with five departments (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Architectural Engineering). In the present, the College has the Mechanical System Engineering department (Mechanical Robot Engineering, Car Engineering, Megatronics Engineering), and six other department (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Management Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, Safety Engineering, Energy and Chemical Engineering).

The college has endeavored to continue inviting outstanding teaching staff and attracting talented students. We have greatly contributed to rearing engineering experts, regional social development, and the development of industries in the country. In addition, with the establishment of our new Seongdo campus, and our school becoming a national university, we have been organizing specific plans to become one of the prestigious universities in the country, and a leading university in North East Asia. In order to make engineering education fruitful, we have introduced the Engineering Education Accreditation System (ABEEK) in 2005. In January 2009 the college was recognized by the Engineering Education Accreditation System, and in February 2010, we produced our first graduates in this program. Our college has the objective of rearing talented individuals who are creative, responsible and ethical, and possess an outstanding ability in comprehensive design and in performing tasks on the field. We are working hard to produce capable individuals who possess expertise useful in international economics and future progress.
