The Department of French Language and Literature has also strived to develop an international sense in students through academic exchange and student exchange programs with various overseas educational institutions, such as Université d'Orleans and Université d'Avignon. Separately, many of our students study in Europe every year after being selected in school competition for experiences in European countries.
To experience French language and culture, the department organizes every two years in fall, the French play performance and the night of French poetry and chansons. Since the foundation of the department in 1979, the above-mentioned festival has never missed a year and offers a place for learning and gathering for both undergrads and alumni. As you can see from these various educational programs, our goal and vision are clear. We aim to cultivate specialists of France required by the time and contributing to the society. The experts we produce will have cultural and regional knowledge of France based on effective language skills and international discernment.
