To hold the entrance ceremony for Incheon National University in 2024

3,251 students, including 2,743 university students and 508 graduate students, entered the university

 

Incheon National University (President Park Jong-tae) held the "2024 Entrance Ceremony" at Incheon National University's Songdo Campus Auditorium at 11 a.m. on Monday, the 4th, and celebrated the new start of the freshmen.


More than 700 people attended the entrance ceremony, including freshmen and family members, lawmaker Jeong Il-young, deputy superintendent of education Lee Sang-don of the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education, and lawmaker Cho Hyun-young, chairman of the Incheon National University Graduate Association Kim Se-yong, CEO Lee Ki-woo of Gyeongin Broadcasting, CEO Cho Seung-yeon of the Incheon Metropolitan Medical Center, Won Yong-hwi of the Incheon Management Forum, and Jeong Gyu-ri of Miss Korea's "善" in 2023 (an alumnus of Incheon National University's fashion industry department). In addition, video congratulations were made by Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok, Incheon City Council President Lee Bong-rak, who graduated from Incheon National University, Rep. Kim Kyo-heung, Attorney Ahn Gwi-ok, Rep. Bae Jin-kyo, Rep. Lee Dong-joo, Incheon Veterans Affairs Commissioner Park Yong-ju, Seo-gu Office Director Kang Beom-seok, and Professor Jang Dong-woo of Incheon National University's Department of Urban Environmental Engineering.

President Park Jong-tae accepted a total of 3,251 new students from colleges and universities such as humanities, and Jeong Seul-jin, a student from Northeast Asia's Department of International Trade and Logistics, and Lee Seul-bi, a student from the Department of Biotechnology, read the oath of freshmen.

In his entrance ceremony, President Park Jong-tae emphasized, "The beginning is half, if you set the right direction and goal when you start something, you can successfully finish the journey," adding, "The direction and goal setting of life are very important." He also promised to always support students' precious dreams and challenges and help them to their best until the day he graduated with a great appearance. 


Jeong Gyu-ri, an alumnus of Miss Korea in 2023, who was an alumnus of Incheon National University's fashion industry department and the 18th public relations ambassador of Incheon National University, especially invited to the entrance ceremony, said, "If you meet yourself making a bucket list made of ordinary and simple goals and achieving them one by one, you will become a person you dreamed of someday."
